Ah, the weekend is here. But there's much to do. I'm overwhelmed with laundry. There is a memorial service for a colleague's mother. And John Dunn is coming over for gumbo.
So I'm up by 8am making a rough with my hair covered so it won't absorb the burnt flour smell.
At the service, there are hand wipes and hand gel. But I get to see other people and visit with them, so that's lovely. I've been fortunate so far....my social network is still active, but it's beginning to feel unsafe to be with others.
